March at Alpha Gam...
Springtime has been especially busy at Alpha Gam with our spring philanthropy event, initiation of a new pledge class, date night events, and more.

Spring BBQ
This spring, Alpha Gamma Delta partnered with the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity to host a Spring Barbecue at our beautiful house on Milledge. The event included delicious barbecue and sides, clothes and jewelry vendors, and live music from Aspen Anonda (PC '17) and members of Alpha Gamma Rho. All proceeds from the extremely successful event went to the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation, which works to fight food insecurity, and Alpha Gamma Rho's philanthropy, Extra Special People.

Inspire UGA
Many of our sisters are involved in Inspire UGA, an organization whose goal is to promote the personal and professional success of Athens-Clarke County schools by encouraging higher education. Inspire UGA primarily works to increase the high school graduation rate in the area by hosting informational events for middle schoolers in the area and through their spring event, Day as a Dawg. On this day, Inspire UGA hosts Athens-Clarke County students at UGA, providing them with guest speakers and activities which promote higher education.

Spring Pledge Class Initiation
This March, we officially welcomed fourteen new members of the spring pledge class into our sisterhood. We are excited to get to know them more and see them grow in our chapter!

Field Fiesta
There's no better way to kick-off beautiful spring weather than through a field party at Pappy's. Our sisters enjoyed a date night full of Fuzzy's tacos, live music, and dancing at our spring field party.

Sister Spotlight: Tori Robinson
Tori, a member of Pledge Class '14, currently serves as the co-President of Special Olympics at UGA which works to support Special Olympics student-athletes of the Athens-Clarke County area. Through this organization, Tori has valued being able to "build incredible relationships with kids and adults with disabilities in Athens that I know will last far beyond graduation." In addition to Special Olympics, Tori is involved with Wesley, works as a personal caretaker for a young woman with a traumatic brain injury, and served as a Continuous Open Bidding Officer for Alpha Gam. Tori's favorite part of our sisterhood is the support our sisters offer one another and she is "forever grateful to be surrounded by positive friendships" that lift her up.
